Latino College Day

Description: Join us for Latino College Day. This special event welcomes prospective students, family and friends to meet and talk with college staff, students and representatives from local Latino community organizations.

Registration, lunch catered by Sabor Dominicana and resource fair of Latino Community Organizations from noon to 1:00pm.

Our program will begin promptly at 1:00 with a keynote address by Mr. Pedro Rodriguez, Director of Human Resources for the City of Philadelphia. We will continue with presentations covering admissions, financial aid and opportunities for Latino students at the College made in both Spanish and English. Hear from our Latino staff, students, faculty and alumni.

Hear success stories from students from your community who have attended the college. Bilingual staff will be available to assist you with college and financial aid applications if you would like to apply during your visit.

Resource Fair participants will include organizations like: Congreso, LULAC, the College’s Latin American Student Organization (LASO), the School District’s Multilingual Family Support Office and more!

Door prizes and free parking in our Bonnell Staff Parking lot on 17th St. across from the College garage.
